Of excitement but also possibly some worry - perhaps its your first baby and you have no idea what to expect or you're a seasoned mum who wants a different experience, wanting extra support throughout pregnancy and post partum to really set yourself up for the experience you desire.

My goal as your Doula

is to really connect with you,

to inspire you and empower you!

I want to work together to really shine light on all the shadowed areas of pregnancy, birth and post partum. I want to see you (& your partner) to be educated on the process of growing, birthing and those early months adjusting to baby. Navigating your way through pregnancy to birth, being prepared for birth and setting up an environment and space you can really rest and recover post baby without all the stress and unknown.

I cover Chatham-Kent, Windsor-Essex and Lambton-Kent areas providing Doula Services for families looking to build their birth team, educate themselves on the process and prepare for the post partum experience after bringing baby home.

How as YOUR doula we will make your journey into parenthood as smooth and prepared as possible.

Childbirth Education

During our get togethers, as your Doula my focus is to share with you all the birth knowledge and preparation as we put together what your birth desires are, your wishes and hopes.

Unraveling the mysteries of birth, breaking down the stages of labour and interventions that will be offered.

Providing what you need to feel confident and informed in deciding your choices about what feels right for your body and family.

Hands on Birth Support

All the childbirth preparation we do before hand leads us here!
A birthday.

I will be continual support to your needs as you navigate through labour/the birth of your baby in whatever capacity you need.

If thats hips squeezes, a calming voice. Someone to sit with you and take the beautiful journey of welcoming your baby earthside & staying for some immediate post partum support.

Post Partum Preperation

We are going to get deep into Post Partum care. What to expect, what your partner can expect, what impact this may have on your relationship(s) and how to stay connected with your partner & how to maintain friendships/family. We will set up a plan to rest, figuring out how to allocate tasks, and prioritize healing and bonding.

Post Partum will strip you to your core, for who you were before.. you'll never know again but this new version is going to be your favorite.

The Investment

As your doula

I will be available to you once we sign contract together to

be someone to come to with any questions, concerns,

discussion, share knowledge and resources with you.

2-3 prenatal's to really dive deep into all the topics birth

and post partum, to really connect you with your body

& your baby. To teach you all things belly to baby.

To be sure you're walking to your birth prepared, informed,

educated, relaxed and ready for anything

& of course what to expect post partum.

Creating a plan for how to make it a smooth transition into

parenthood and how partners can support and help out!

Continual support to you throughout pregnancy

and 6 weeks post partum for texting /calling

Birth support staying 1 to 3 hours post baby to be sure everyone is settled and doing well

On call starting week 37 but of course is baby comes before then I would do my very best to be available to you.

1 post partum visit to make sure everyone is setting, offer any support, resources or knowledge.
